Sticks & Feather

Join us for a spiritual craft ceremony of Sticks & Feathers. In this spiritual gathering we will learn the practice Native American traditional smudging and the traditions of the ceremonial Talking Stick, all while partaking in a craft-full interpretation of making our own smudge feathers and talking sticks. 

With spiritual ceremonial intention, we will dive into the world of Native American traditions to learn their cultural beliefs, ceremonies, and traditions. Both smudging practices and talking stick traditions are rooted with reverence for spirit, respect for nature, and connection to the divine, making it a perfect transitional experience for us to learn of sacred practices while enjoying our own take on the experience. 

During our event we will work within a sacred space to:

• Learn Smudging Techniques
• Learn Practice and Background of Talking Sticks
• Make a Smudge Feather
• Make a Talking Stick
• Make a Hair Feather Extension
• Have a Joyous day of Connection and Fun
